This video is a heart-stopper. An Australian film crew crosses a tidal flat, gets stuck, and things go seriously pear-shaped from there. I was on the edge of my seat watching it.
It’s a perfect example of how small failures can compound into serious situations. Lessons? Plan ahead — in this case, know the tide. Stay calm and think things through — adrenaline can lead to more mistakes. And winch or snap-pull in straight line. And give yourself a mental high-five when you get it right! Shew!
